About the Festival
What started as a generous offer from the Berkeley Arts Festival to showcase one evening's worth of music reminiscent of performances held at the old Jazz House (the good ol' days!) quickly morphed into a three-day festival showcasing some of the Bay Area's terrific talent.  With just a few weeks to pull this whole festival together, The Jazz House is thrilled to bring to you a wonderful gathering stretching over more than 20 hours and including some 40+ musicians and visual artists.

Presented by The Jazz House and the Berkeley Arts Festival, this 3-day event will showcase improvisation, straight-ahead, avant garde, free and other types of jazz and jazz-inspired music  not conventionally heard in a collective way in the Bay Area.
